Why choose Caterham Acupuncture?
First and foremost, I absolutely love working with people and keying them back into their self-healing either with acupuncture, sound or the combination. I have been in practice coming up for two decades and can honestly say I love what I do more now than ever before.
Until his untimely death in 2018 I was mentored by one of the world’s best acupuncturists Giovanni Macocia (whom, with his expertise, helped me to turn my health around, enabling me to start my own family). He always helped me to see through complex cases and understand what was truly going on. More recently, I completed my sound diploma, and continue to explore the benefits of sound healing, with the very talented Siobhan Swider through the Sound Healing Academy – Siobhan is knowledgeable in acupuncture herself enabling us to view things from the same energetic wavelength.
At Caterham Acupuncture, you’ll find yourself in a beautiful, bright, tranquil, cosy clinic infused with a very happy energy. It really is a special place and one I feel honoured to be able to offer as a safe space to my patients.
Having worked in a myriad of different clinics over the years I know what works for me and my patients – some practitioners prefer to overlap treatment of patients, inserting the needles and then leaving you to rest whilst they tend to someone else. That is not what you will experience at Caterham Acupuncture. I like to be able to add moxa, electro and sound as appropriate - whatever I do you will have my full attention & presence even if that’s me just quietly holding space for you whilst you enter the alpha-theta border and drift into deep relaxation.
Working every day bar Sunday I am able to offer continuity of care whatever your diary looks like and I do not charge any extra for IVF patients requiring sessions outside my set hours. Eg if your transfer falls on a Monday, requiring your pre ET / FET treatment on a Sunday night I will facilitate that without any extra cost.
Most importantly, embarking on treatment with me is so much more than just coming and having some needles placed in you, or sound played for you. From the initial consultation I delve deep into your medical history looking at some of the essential building blocks of good health, including diet, sleep and exercise to help me aid you to make important tweaks in your life which support the work started by the needle/sound. Successful acupuncture/sound treatment is about helping you to make changes yourself when you are in the outside world, small changes which can make a huge difference, empowering you to take charge of your own health, and help heal yourself.
I look forward to working with you.
